Introducing the Free-Ride Western Safety Stirrups!
Revolutionary new design that reduces the chance of a rider getting his foot caught in a stirrup and being dragged in the event of a fall. Time-tested, non-mechanical release based on the english "Peacock" stirrup. Designed and manufactured by a rider who experienced a horrific accident that would have not been as serious if his foot would've released from the stirrup. Read about it here.
Manufactured in the USA by American craftspeople, the body of the stirrup is crafted with 356 structural grade aluminum, heat treated to double the strength and sand blasted to a uniform finish. These stirrups have performed flawlessly in rugged, brushy and wet conditions.
There is a lifetime guarantee on the stirrup body(does not extend to the rubber peacocks which are designed to break or the leather keepers which also have release design elements). Peacocks are EDPM rubber which resists ozone and UV deterioration.
These stirrups are $155 plus $11 shipping in the USA.
You have choices of color for the leather side cover, natural, chestnut or black, with tooling choices and conch choices.
